The History of Hadley Juniors Football Club

Hadley Juniors were formed in 1976. The founder and former Secretary of the club was John Newbrook. John has always, and still does give his free time to the club for the same reasons that those who have followed him, wishing that the possible football stars of the future and others of all abilities, have the best possible chance to improve their game themselves, and to enjoy football as they do so

As John started off the first team for Hadley Juniors, there were plenty of opportunity and competition for his new team as there were many other clubs starting out around the same time.

Telfords population was not as large as it is today, and the first junior football league was The Ironbridge Junior League which later became the Telford Junior Youth Football League as the boundaries became more widely spread out throughout the whole of Telford.
We as the committee will endeavour to keep all our members informed of all the activities planned for the club. We would like to have new members being enrolled into the club to take the club forward for the future. If any parents, friends or family members are interested in getting involved, then we would be happy to hear from you. If you do wish to take a greater involvement with us then you can either use the email button above or speak in person to your child's respective manager, assistant or any committee member in person. We can usually be found around training sessions and matches.
